Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SyncMerch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SyncMerch is a product intelligence platform that helps Shopify store owners create and manage product listings using AI-powered image analysis. The Service generates product titles, descriptions, tags, and other structured data from product photographs and syncs them to your Shopify store.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, continued access requires an active paid subscription at the current rate ($19.99/month).

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all product images, descriptions, and data you upload to or create through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant SyncMerch a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use all content you provide to the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate product listings, descriptions, and metadata. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before it is published to your Shopify store.

SyncMerch is not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content that you approve and publish.

8. Shopify Integration

The Service integrates with Shopify through their official API. You authorize SyncMerch to read and write product data on your Shopify store on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time through your Shopify admin panel.

SyncMerch is not responsible for changes to the Shopify API or platform that may affect the Service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncMerch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account termination, unless required by law to retain it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
